ABOUT ME
Trey Durr is a filmmaker, writer, and broadcast technician born and raised in Northeast Ohio and now residing in New York. In 2025, Trey graduated from the University of Cincinnati, where he studied Media Production through the College-Conservatory of Music. His filmmaking roots remain deeply connected to Cincinnati, where he developed his creative voice and continues to find community within the local film scene.
Trey’s artistic vision focuses on the queer experience and the importance of creating space for underrepresented voices. Through his work, he aims to tell meaningful stories while supporting the artists and communities that inspire him. In 2026, Trey founded the Winney-Martin Film Tent, a queer film screening experience at the Cincinnati Pride Festival in partnership with Cindependent and OutReels Cincinnati. The tent brings queer film directly to its target audience while providing a platform for local artists and their work.
Alongside filmmaking and writing, Trey works in broadcast production, combining his creative interests with fast-paced live-event execution.
